Tarbi Has Landed – Meet Our New Travel Arbitration Assistant
We’re pleased to announce the launch of Tarbi, our new AI-powered assistant designed to support Hunt ADR’s Travel Arbitration Schemes.
Tarbi is now live and available to everyone. It provides round-the-clock guidance on the arbitration process, supports users in understanding the applicable rules, and helps all parties navigate documentation and timelines more easily.
Whether you’re a customer, travel company, arbitrator, or administrator, Tarbi is here to help.
Why Tarbi?
Travel Arbitration can be unfamiliar territory for many, especially for first-time users. Tarbi was created to provide immediate, accurate, and accessible answers to common questions without the delays or uncertainty often associated with email or phone-based support.
It’s fast, professional, and entirely based on Hunt ADR’s official materials. Tarbi doesn’t speculate and never offers legal advice, but it does explain the process clearly and calmly.
What Can Tarbi Do?
Tarbi is designed to support all parties involved in Travel Arbitration, including:
- Holidaymakers who need help understanding how arbitration works
- Travel companies who want clarity on procedural steps and deadlines
- Arbitrators and administrators looking for rule-based information
- Third-party observers who want to learn how the scheme operates
Key features include:
- Explaining the Travel Arbitration process from start to finish
- Clarifying which rules apply under different schemes (ABTA, Love Holidays, On the Beach, and others)
- Offering rule-based guidance on document submissions, timelines, and final comments
- Providing access to certain approved documents when permitted
What Tarbi Doesn’t Do
To protect users and maintain clarity, Tarbi:
- Does not provide legal advice
- Does not confirm eligibility for arbitration
- Does not issue forms except where explicitly allowed (currently limited to Love Holidays claims)
Instead, Tarbi focuses on helping users understand their rights, responsibilities, and next steps – always in line with the official scheme rules.
How to Use Tarbi
Tarbi is free to use and available online 24/7. You’ll just need a free ChatGPT account to access it.
We’ll be monitoring how it’s used, collecting feedback, and making improvements where appropriate.
If you’re involved in the scheme, or just curious about how it works, we encourage you to give it a try.
Looking Ahead
Tarbi is part of Hunt ADR’s wider effort to improve transparency, efficiency, and user experience in the arbitration space. We believe technology can support better access to justice and this is a small but important step.
Tarbi is also our second AI assistant, following the launch of Pax, the digital assistant for the Private Arbitration Court. Together, these tools reflect our ongoing commitment to using AI responsibly to enhance the way arbitration is delivered, both in the travel sector and beyond.
