Today we celebrate not just a birthday, but nearly a decade of innovation, integrity, and impact in dispute resolution.
Over the past nine years, we’ve proudly:
- Built a reputation as the UK’s largest arbitration provider by volume, with over 5,000 cases managed to date, offering trusted, expert-driven dispute resolution with transparency and professionalism
- Delivered the ABTA Arbitration Scheme, helping thousands of travel consumers and businesses resolve their disputes fairly, quickly, and cost-effectively
- Launched the Private Arbitration Court in partnership with The Barrister Group – a groundbreaking step in fixed-cost, tech-enhanced arbitration for commercial and contractual disputes
- Developed the world’s first AI Avatar-delivered mediation training programme – All About Mediation, blending tech innovation with best-in-class mediator education
- Trained and accredited mediators online from Chile to Australia, Hong Kong to France, Canada to Barbados – and in person in Poland, Spain, England, and Northern Ireland
- Worked with universities and students from Málaga to Hull, Ulster to Anglia Ruskin, Exeter to St Andrews, Liverpool to Birmingham, and Oxford to Cambridge, sharing insights and fostering the next generation of dispute resolution professionals
- Created the much-loved and market-leading podcast on ADR – No Disputing That, sharing voices, stories, and insights from across the world of dispute resolution – now expanded with regular video updates on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram more than 25,000 listeners and viewers from 63 countries
A huge thank you to our training team Kelly Thornton, John Jarrett, Dennis Hamill, Roger Levitt, and Martin Medforth for their passion, wisdom, and unwavering support.
To all our arbitrators (especially Marcus Rutherford) and mediators and students on our various training courses, our administrators and accountants and IT suppliers. And to our university partners, special thanks to John Keers, Diana Wallis, Sue Prince, John Brebner, and Dr Scott Steele for helping shape the future of dispute resolution with us.
With sincere appreciation to our key partners Charles Fachiri at ABTA and Stephen Ward at The Barrister Group for your trust, vision, and support on pivotal initiatives.
To people like Ben Rigby and James Tumbridge for always being around for tea and a chat and to everyone at The Barrister Group, Arbitra, CIArb, the Dispute Resolution Agency, Institute of Paralegals and the Federation of Small Businesses and all our listeners and subscribers to No Disputing That across the world and to all our guests so far!
Over 70% of our business comes from relationships built over the years, and nearly all our training comes via word of mouth – trusted recommendations from those who’ve experienced it.
We’ve achieved all this with virtually no marketing spend – a true testament to the value of our work and the strength of our community.

We are deeply grateful to all our family, partners, clients, and colleagues who have supported our journey. If you haven’t been mentioned by name then don’t be offended!
As we look ahead, our commitment remains firm – to deliver smarter, faster, and more accessible arbitration and mediation services and training, while continuing to lead with innovation, fairness, and sustainability.
Here’s to the next nine years!
