Greggonomics Newsletter

Greggonomics – oh dear, another newsletter!

If you follow Hunt ADR, you’ll have seen Dispute Digest, our newsletter on mediation and ADR. If you follow huntai, you’ll know BrAInstorm, where we explore how AI is changing work and creativity. And of course, there are the podcasts.

This isn’t any of those.

Greggonomics is just a space for me to jot things down when they come to mind, sometimes about ADR, sometimes AI, sometimes something completely different.

No schedule. No theme. Just thoughts worth sharing (or not) when I get the time.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, hit Subscribe – and maybe even send me some ideas for what to write about.

Let’s kick off with a bit of Bill Shankly wisdom, and how it ties to being a mediator:

“If a player is not interfering with play, or seeking to gain an advantage, then he should be.” — Bill Shankly

It’s the same in mediation. If you’re in the room but not really engaging – not listening, not testing ideas, not looking for a way forward – you’re just on the pitch, not in the game.

Mediation only works when everyone’s prepared to interfere with play – to get involved, influence outcomes, and make things happen.

That’s enough interfering with play for one day. Until next time, Gregg
