Entry Level
Receive up to 10 appointments to gain experience and move your career forward.
Certification Level
Receive up to 10 appointments to gain experience. To help move your career forward you will receive a Certificate of Verification that you have completed the programme and 50 hours CPD.
Assessment Level
In addition to 10 certified appointments, you will receive feedback on your first and fifth awards and a Performance Feedback Report upon completion of the programme. The report gives praise and constructive cristism and can be used to support applications to panels, institutions and professional bodies. The ArbEx Reviewer may also recommend you for inclusion on the Hunt ADR Arbitrator List.
About ArbEx
ArbEx is a CDP programme for qualified arbitrators. It is not a training programme. Hunt ADR does not currently provide arbitrator training, we recommend that if you wish to be trained as an arbitrator you seek guidance from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). To take part in ArbEx you must have completed an equivalent to CIArb arbitrator training and must have award writing experience.
Successful applicants will receive up to 10 arbitral appointments. Limited places are available on a first come first served basis. A waiting list is maintained. A one-off administration fee is payable upon acceptance on to the programme, depending upon which pathway is chosen.
What Applicants Can Expect From Hunt ADR
- Up to 10 appointments on documents-only* arbitration cases
- Pre-publication proof reading
- Award templates, anonymised awards for reference, relevant directions and rules will be provided
- Access to one or more portals containing all case materials where applicable
- Full administrative support

What Hunt ADR Expects From Applicants
- Applicants will be CIArb or equivalent trained and will have award writing experience
- All relevant rules and guidelines must be followed
- Draft Awards to be provided for proofing by professional arbitration award proof readers at least three days before due date
- Awards to be sent for publishing post proofing within 28 days of appointment / receipt of all relevant information, subject to scheme rules
- All Awards must be fully reasoned and written in clear English
- Successful applicants must be available for appointment with an expectation that ArbEx will be completed within 6 months of the first appointment
